Hi..I am new here..I am currently trying to find Insurance...My hubby and I have never had ins. so I am kinda in the dark.Is 520. @ Month cheap for both of us? i really don't know what "good" ins. rates are.

Also,if and when we do get the ins.,is that when I make an appt. with my wls surgeon..I don't have a PCP,we have never had to have one...haven't een to the hospital since my daughter was bor(21),except for a couple emergencies(hubby got hurt playing softball).?

Any help would be appreciated.

Honestly I think it depends on the particular insurance plan you get. Some of them have a waiting period. I would ask them directly if there is a waiting period or something like that. Also find out if you have to be referred to see a WLS by a PCP or if you can just go... Some insurances also require a bunch of stuff like weight history, weight loss attempts, nutritionist visits for 6 mos or a year... It all depends on the insurance policy.
