Tricare Approved

I just received word that my WLS has been approved through Tricare. It has been a journey but now I can see light at the end of the tunnel. I have BCBS of KS as my main insurance provider and was denied so my paperwork was submitted to Tricare yesterday and I received notice that I was approved, LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER!
If you do the leg work and keep a positive attitude, things work out in the end. I guess my next step is making the consultation appt. with the surgeon, and I met him last night at the monthly information meeting in Junction City, KS. I must say that Innovative Weight Loss Solutions has been a tremendous help in the whole process.

Congratulations on your success!  I'm curious, what WL procedure did you get approved for?  RNY or lap band or something else?  I'm asking in case it is the VSG..........Thanks and best wishes!

I was approved for the lap band and the RNY. I'm not sure what the VSG is but I didn't see it on the list of approved surgeries. I hope this helps.
