Looking for Advice: Getting ready to turn in 2nd appeal for VSG

I've been turned down twice because it is investigational.  My insurance is Capital Blue Cross (Central PA).

I would appreciate any advice from Vicki B or anyone else who appealed successfully.

I WAS DENIED TWICE BY IBX FOR THE VSG. Same thing investigational.
As far as my surgeon office said they have not seen one approved for IBX
ever.

I turned in my 2nd appeal last week.  In it, aside with other research, I told them I was prepared to take them to court.  Hopefully the will decide to let me have the less expensive surgery rather than pay for a court fight.
