Im on medicaid found a Dr. HOW CAN I GET APPROVRD!!!!

HI MY NAME IS LATOYA IM 22 YRS OLD I FOUND A DR THAT ACCEPTS MEDICAID AND I HAVE TO MEET WITH HIM ON APRIL 8TH WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BE APPROVED BY MEDICAID ...... PLEASE HELP IM IN DESPERTE NEED !

I dont know what your states medicaid is like but through Ohio Medicaid I have paramount advantage...All it says is that it has to be medically neccissary. I went to my first doctors appt. yesterday and he said that having a BMI over 40 alone can be considered as medically necissary. if you have any other comorbidities make SURE to mention them. back pain, joint pain, depression, shortness of breath, diabetes, sleep apnea etc. do your research and any obesity related problems you think you may have, make sure that you bring them up. Your doctor will walk you through it....he wants you to have the surgery just as bad as you want it! So he will help you figure everything out. GOOD LUCK!

all you haveto do is go to the required doctor's that your surgeon requires youto go to...make sure they take  medicaid which  some of them do after you complete all of your required test they will submit for approval...medicaid is like any other insuranceyou just have to make sure they accept your insurancen first
