Approved by Aetna

Well, I got my call from Aetna today and I'm approved and surgery is scheduled for May 20th.  I can't decide which is most overwhelming, the excitement or the anxiety!

Once Aetna actually received all missing information, it only took them one day to approve. As you may recall, I was borderline for approval since my two year weight history slipped below 40.0 two years ago.  I can't believe it.

Now I just can't chicken out between now and my surgery date!

I have Aetna also, and have heard they are tough. I got my approval last week after only 10 days of deliberation. Exciting! I wish you luck, I am counting down the days until my surgery, 31 to go!! Yippee!! Good luck to you!!

I have aetna as well and I am worried because I think last year I was below the 40.0 and I don't have any co-morbidities. Do you have any suggestions?
