VSG CPT code
Ok I was talking to my Dr's office Ins girl and she said that the code for VSG is 43999 and that it is a generic code and she told me that they (BCBSM) will not cover it anyway. I told her that I would appeal it though. What code was used for approved VSG? I posted in VSG too.
I called them back and they said that the revision code is 43999 not 43843.
