Are there any particular questions you need this book to answer? Maybe someone could help you with that.  :)

My current insurance has an exclusion. I was wondering if there might be any ideas to get around that in there.  I know if is almost impossible to do.

That book is probably full of nothing more than info you can get here for free. In fact, if someone DID buy it and found "secret" info, they'd probably share it here for free for all to know! Save your money.

As for your question, yes, exclusions are rock solid. The ONLY way people have ever gotten through them is when the exclusion is vaguely written or includes exceptions. But most insurance people who right these contracts have clued in and they are rarely vague anymore. They usually state pretty clearly "NO bariatric surgery of any kind, regardless of medical need or to treat another covered condition."
Duodenal Switch hybrid due to complications.
