OK my crappy insurance is trying to deny my claim, to the turn of over 20,000, for the repair of a incarcerated hernia that occured after my VSG. Their justification is that have a weight loss exclusion and related complication. My health insurance is trying to say that the incarcerated hernia is directly related to the VSG, but from my research there are a number of things which could have could have caused the incarcerated hernia.
I am appealing the decision and asking my doctor for letter of support. Please read letter and give insights.

is trying to say that the incarcerated hernia is directly related to the VSG, but from my research there are a number of things which could have could have caused the incarcerated hernia. As an example, I can tell you I am chronically constipated and I do strain a great deal to have a bowel movement.
I would like to request a letter from you to support appeal with an explanation that there are several factors which may have caused my incarcerated hernia and that it can not be directly linked as a cause and effect kind of thing to my VSG.
Thank you for you assistance in this matter.
