I am approved!!!!

I just called UHC and found out I am approved!!! Now I am nervous. I guess tomorrow I will call the doctor's office and go from there.

Question:  Did you get approval first before any appointments or did you go through an appointment to get the approval from your insurance? 

I'm trying to figure this out and my insurance company is taking forever to get back in touch with me.  I don't want to go through all of the appointments to find out I'm denied.  Any input would be appreciated.
