cigna Open Access Plan

Anyone heard of this? This is what I have but cant find any info on the mycigna site to look up the details about WLS coverage.
Any info would be appreciated.

Here are two links. I hope this helps. You will need to check with CIGNA or your HR Dept to see if you have and WLS exclutions. I have an exclution for out of network but can use the surgeons on the list below.

Thanks for those links, I have looked at them over and over and cant find anything that says "open acess".  I'm wondering how I go about seeing my husbands actual policy???  I even created a "MyCigna" account, but I couldnt find it there either.  I'm so impatient! HEHE

I sure know about being impatient. I've been working on getting WLS for a year and six months of that fighting CIGNA. 

I also have open access and never found my policy on MyCIGNA. I had a writen copy from my employer which is the most reliable. When I called CIGNA they were able to tell me my specific coverage for bariatric surgery. Call the toll free number on your card.... if you haven't already.

To get a copy of your husband's policy, you would have to contact his human resource dept.  I believe they HAVE to provide you a copy upon request.

my name is sarah. i have cigna open access plan.  wls is excluded on my plan.  i am still going to jump through the hoops and hope my husband can talk his employer into adding it to the plan. its the only hope i have.  if you find another way will you let me know. email me on here or at [email protected].  i am desperate to have this surgery. 

i do know you have to have 6 months physicaian supervised diet along with other things.
where are you from i am in mo. does your husband work at tysons by chance.
