Another Question....

I am wondering what all of your thoughts are on this....my insurance requires a 6 month cumulative diet/exercise program supervised by my PCP w/in two years prior to surgery.

PCP Appointments:

July 23, 2007 - 1st Appointment w/PCP
September 2, 2008 - 2nd Appt w/PCP
October 29, 2008 - 3rd Appt w/PCP
November 18, 2008 - 4th Appt w/PCP
5th & 6th appts will be in December & January.

So, my question is....my insurance doesn't require 6 consecutive appointments w/PCP....just 6 cumulative appointments w/in 2 years prior to surgery.  Do you think that the July 2007 appointment will be included or since there is 10 months until my next appt in Sept of 2008 will they say that doesn't qualify?  It is w/in the two years.

I guess I am splitting hairs, but if they don't accept July 23, 2007, I will have to do March of 2008, too.....

Exercise:  Meetings with Trainer for Microfit Profile (Monthly..I work out 3-5 times per week & we do the Microfit Profile once per month):

August 15, 2007
10/9/2007
9/15/2008
11/10/2008
I will do one in December & one in January...that will be 6

Dietition:
I consulted w/a Dietitian in July 2007 & followed program, logged e'thing.  Also saw this RD in September 2008, but was in contact w/her from July 07 to September 08.  On November 13, 2008, I started w/a new Registered Dietition because the original one had a baby & was no longer working.  We started a whole new program & I will meet with her for three months (through January 2008).  So, total I will have 6 appts w/RDietition(s).

thanks for your thoughts....
