revision surgery and insurance

I'm starting the process. Can anyone tell me if I should expect revision surgery to be more or less difficult to get approved? I had a VBG 22 years ago, and I'm hoping to revise to a DS. My insurance covers DS and covers revisions, but I'm wondering if revisions are generally more or less difficult to get approved?

thanks!

A friend of mine had a revision recently and it was approved very quickly and without any psych eval, etc.   Her purpose for the revision was not to change surgery types but because she had gained a significant amount of her weight loss.

I was approved for my revision within a week of submittal. I did do the 6 month nut/visits, Upper GI, testing and psych evaluation.
