? about diagnosis code
I saw psych yesterday for my Minnesota Mult. Personality Inventory test (my ins. requires this). I'm going back tomorrow for test results & actual eval by psych. I had asked for an insurance form so I could send into ins. to hopefully get some reimbursement. She gave me one & put diagnosis code for eating d/o. I would think she should've used the one for morbid obesity, right? I mean I don't want to be turned down for surgery b/c they think I have a eating d/o & won't comply w/ surg inst. She hasn't even evaluated me yet, that'll be tomorrow. Anyone have any idea about this?
