So discouraging!
This is the b.s I was given by my human resource manager John this morning. I've been after him all year to pick up the WLS rider come 1/1/09. Wrote him a letter about my struggles, etc. Made myself present with calls to him periodically. Of course he can't promise anything. He told me last month that in his proposals to the "powers that be" he included the rider. Again understandable not making any promises! I heard from my supervisor yesterday that as of 1/1/09 we longer have Anthem but Connecticare. I called John to inquire about the rider. He told me this am that they couldn't pick up the rider for Jan. because of our budget, blah, blah, blah and that he was contacting our broker to see if they can pick up the rider in 2-3 months if our budget improves. What a crock of you know what! Am I right? Riders aren't picked up in the middle of the year. I would respect him more if he just said we can't do it.
It so discouraging and disappointing!
