People with secondary insurances

I know some people out there already know this, but I just found out something.  For the people with secondary insurances, you can give your denial to the secondary and file a claim or some thing like that and they will pay using their benefits if they cover it.  So you have a second chance, but you have to call to see if they cover it first before doing this.  I can have my surgery!!!  I just need to hurry up before I am not covered anymore by them which is until Jan 22, 09.  But I hope this helped you all out there who is wondering.....

Does this mean you get to have the sleeve?

I'd have to submit to the insurance for the VSG, then I would have to go through another denial from my primary to have my secondary cover VSG.  I will have to go with my original plan to have RNY, I suppose.  If I had more time to do all of that I would  consider it, but I wont be covered by my secondary for long.  I know that I should'nt base the rest of my life on what I can do in the time frame I have at the moment, but it doesnt seem so bad being that RNY was my original plan.  So I guess I dont feel as bad.  I really just want to be healthy and live life longer and easier.  Thank you soooo much for your concern, I really appreciate it, and I'll keep in touch!
