I AM APPROVED

I called for the 5th time today and they told me I WAS APPROVED. I am so happy. My info was sent to United on the 13th and I have been calling everyday like a mad woman.

Congratulations, you must be as high as a kite right now!!  I can't wait to post that on here. Good luck!

I don't even know you & I am SO SO SO excited for you!!!!!   And, it's nice to know that someone else has been calling their insurance company every day like a mad woman---my info was sent on the 21st & they have heard from me every day this week....I can't wait to post "I WAS APPROVED", too.....best wishes.....!!!!   Oh, what surgery are you having????  Yippee!!! I am having the lap band. I was the same way. I could wait until I was able to type the words "I AM APPROVED" It takes a lot of courage to make this descision. And then it takes alot of patience to wait. You will get your approval soon and will be grinning ear to ear.

Good morning, I am new to this board and was reading you guys post. Should I be calling like this too? I am in the appeal process was denied twice for not doing the right thing because my poicy had change but I have completed all that they needed and my paperwork was submitte 10/7/08. They are telling me they have 30 days to look over my appeal this is the second one and it is due to me not completing the three month sup and diet they had recommended per my insurance policy. United Healthcare did not require this last year and my surgeron and I just found out this year. Please let me know what you think.....Thanks

What Insurance company do you have???

I have United Healthcare. I found out yesterday I have a DATE!!! I am sched for november 3rd.

what requirements did united asked u guy? I have united health care and I am bit concerned

for my insurance I had to have a BMI 35 - with co-morbities and 40 with none. And a 5 year weight history.
