anyone have pacific source?

I have pacific source (I am in Oregon)  I called and they said they have an exclusion for wls.  What exactly dose this mean?  I have at least 5 serious co morbidity problem.  The biggest I am struggling with right now is my asthma.  I am so heavy it is a chore to just breath.  My bmi is 55.2.  Can anyone give me any ideas if I should even try and fight for wls?  I really want it.  Thanks Angela

It could be that your employer chose not to include a rider in its policy to cover any WLS.  If that is so, then there is no way that anybody could fight the insurer.  You will have to bring that up with the employee benefits department (or HR dept) of your employer.
