BCBSIL approval!!!

After my doctor's office submitted an appeal to BCBSIL in less than a week I got approved!!  So happy. 
Just an FYI, my doctor wrote up 3 months diet from 2007 when I first started and stopped the process and then I did another 3 months this year and he submitted.  Although I have heard people say that the 6 month has to be consecutive it's not true.  Their policy says 6 month diet in a 24 month period.  If you can do consecutive that's great but if you have some sort of backdated documentation of a diet I would push for doctor to see if they can use.
I can't wait to get my surgery date!

That is great to know, I was really worried about mine being a little over a year (I had to do 12 months ). Hopefully all my information was submitted by the DR.'s  office tpday and if not it will be sent monday! Hopefully I will hear in a week like you!

Good luck Jen with your approval.  I was like over anxious and called the insurance company myself a couple of times.  They were pretty nice and explained a lot of things.
