What if I don't have 3 year history?
I have double coverage thru my work and my husbands. I have met all criteria for my insurance (phcs) and everything thru hubby insurance (BCBS Anthem CO) except they are asking for a 3 year history. That third I was not as heavy as I am now and it shows my under the 40 BMI. My coordinator said she is going to see what she can do but even if I went further back I do not show the higher BMI. Does anyone know if that is going to mess everything up with BCBS? Between the 2 insurances I was paying very little out of pocket so I guess worst case scenario I use just my insurance and pay the $3500 out of pocket. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Do you have any serious co-morbidities? High blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, sleep apnea...? That could overcome the under-40 BMI issue.
Also, they always recommend that you get re-measured for height incase you are shorter than you think, because that would re-calculate the BMI to be higher.
