Gary Viscio - Passed on - a great loss to his family, and ours.

I would like to state my sorrow to his family, and to anyone on this site that was personally touched or helped by him.

OMG!  I feel so sorry for his family!  I pray that they may find peace!

I am just stunned.  I don't know what to think.  Was waiting for his help, so now where do we turn?  It is definately a sad day for all who knew or used him.

My wife Kelley and I just heard of Gary's passing and it indeed is terrible news.  He was a passionate advocate and helped many patients.  Our prayers and thoughts go to his family and friends at this difficult time.

I am very devastated about Gary. I pray God will give strength to his family.

I don't want to sound insensitive but I recently mailed a retainer check to Gary for a lawsuit he was going to help me with. I tried calling his office and the message box was full and no room to leave a message. Do you know of another way to reach his office? He said he was working with another lawyer in Texas on my case but he never gave me his name. I know the family and office is grieving and i don't want to sound too insesitive and ask about my money and my case.
Any suggestions as to what i can do?

I just learned of Gary's passing and truly feel stunned.  My prayers for God's healing hand go out to his family and friends.
 
Gary had been working on my case for nearly two years so I would "rattle his cage" every few months if I hadn't heard from him.  My last communication from him was when he went for Guard duty in July. 

Also not wanting to sound insensitive, have you had any success finding out if anyone is taking over his caseload?  Gary would want us all to keep fighting - of that I am certain!

Was his passing weight loss related?

I'm afraid I know nothing about how he passed or what the office is going to do about current cases.

I do know that you can go to obesitylaw.com and talk to them about taking your case. Eventually, I am sure Gary's office will be able to make all the papers on your case available for you to take to another lawyer if need be. But this is all conjecture. Hopefully you will be able to get through on Monday.

I am very sad to hear about Gary. He helped me so much at the beginning of my journey. I wouldn't have known which direction to take without him.

Any more news on what happened to Gary?  I've never met  him but I can't stop thinking about him and his family.  I feel very bad!
