Illinois Medicaid

Hi, I have the lapband now, wanting a revision.  The only doctors in IL that will take Medicaid and do the DS surgery have a 7 year wait.  Univ of Chicago.  Does anyone know if you can go to an out of state doctor that accepts Medicaid and IL Medicaid will still pay for it.  I was thinking maybe I can find another doctor out of state?
