Flex Card

I have the option of enrolling the flex medical program at work.  When reading the list of eligible medical expenses, I ran across this.....

Weight-loss program (only if medically necessary to treat existing disease (such as heart disease) and undertaken under physician's direction)

I don't know if WLS would be considered  under this.  Has anyone out there used their Flex Card to pay for WLS?  If you have, can you share your experience with me.

I believe if your insurance is paying for the surgery you definetly can claim you co pays under the flex benefits.  I believe you your insurance has an exclusion you still should be able to put it in.  Check with the company that processes these claims.
