BC Anthem Ca...plastics covered?

I had Blue Cross CA PPO and it switched to Anthem Blue Cross. I am trying to get some of my reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries covered. Has anyone had experience with them? The doctor is refering to certain procedures as reconstructive.... I am trying to get  documentation from ppo and chiro I hope someone can share some good new with me...I have to finance, so even partial pay will be wonderful... Maureen

I have Anthem Blue Access and they will cover a panniculectomy IF your stomach skin hangs lower than your pubis AND IF you have documented skin problems. It is possible with enough documented issues for other skin folds you could make the same argument. But you will probably really have to make a case it is effecting your health, not just your appearance.
