Anyone with Humana?

I have humana and am on my 4th month of the 6 month weight management. Just wanted to see if anyone has anything to say about Humana about getting approved by them is it hard? easy? What should I expect. I will take any help I can get. Thanks!

Humana used to be wonderful to work with.  Now that they have a national medical review dept. for all bariatric pre auth requests it is very disorganized.  It seems that misinformation is given out a lot and requests are just plain lost.  Criteria wise if you have the documentation, it usually goes right thru.  I hope Humana figures out how to fix all the confusion and get this national review department to work right.  Make sure your surgeon's office verify's that the preauthorization is actually received in that department.  Good Luck. I also have Humana. I was told Medicare wasn't covering certain patients with mental health diagnoses...but when I called Humana and spoke with their Bariatric department I was assured that wasn't  the case. So I am kinda stuck right now.
