Need Help Please

 Have BCBS of Tn. PPO  Said WLS is excluded.   SOOOOOOOOOO  How do I go about getting bottom line selfpay or alternative financing.  Any help Please I just don't know were to start.                                  Thanks Sue 

From what I understand, if you have more than 100 employees in the company, you can carry a rider for yourself (and of course pay for it) to include WLS.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it would cost less to pay for the surgery.  I've heard of people mortgaging their house to taking out a signature loan.  You might be able to get a surgeon to take payments but the hospital is a different story. Looks like we're in the same boat!  I have BCBS of Fla... and they told me the same thing.  I sent a letter (my version of an appeal) last week to their chief medical director.... let's see how that turns out.  I plan to exhaust all efforts with appeals until they tell me what I want to hear!  I've been looking into supplemental insurances, and nobody wants to talk to me when I tell them I want WLS.
