Wellmark BC/BS of Iowa Info

Does anyone know the guidlines for lab-band coverage through Wellmark BC/BS of Iowa and any tips on jumping through the hoops. I am currently thinking about switching from my Principal policy which is very strict to a BC policy. Any advice would be helpful.

The biggest challenge I see is that they are now asking for 3 years of physician supervised diet, with 12 months in the last two years.    I'm not sure how flexible they are  in terms of substituting WW or other programs for the physician supervised.     I'm almost through me presurgery requirements and meet with the surgeon next week - and hopefully they will send in the papers after that so I can test the waters.
