Will insurance pay for breast lift after WLS

I've just been approved for WLS and I know that one of the things I want done after a certain amount of weight loss is to have my breast lifted.  My question is how can I get insurance to pay for this?  Can this be considered a medical necessity since my boobs hangs and I sweat like crazy under the hanging boobs?  For additional information I have Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I have never heard of that being paid for because its not medically necessary. Insurance will however (depending on benefits) pay for a tummy tuck. It can me deemed necessary because of rashes or sores access skin causes. Congrats on the surgery!

Probably not...the invention and worldwide use of  the BRA sort of takes that issue off the medical necessity list.     Personally I have a "mud flap fund" I am squirreling money into...I think my tummy will be covered... but my arms and boobs?  I think that would be a bit pushing my luck. Great luck with your surgery and welcome to the new you!!!!!
