Why are posts of replies deleted on threads?

I'm just wondering.. i'm doing research on insurance etc as I m going to see my doc tomorrow to discuss WLS.  I noticed some responses are deleted.. how come?  Thanks!  PIXS.

I think that it is specific ppl who do this on their own.  Ask the ppl who have them deleted.  You can PM or do it in on another Post!!
