State of IA Employee - BCBS Blue ACCESS ??

I posted this in the Iowa forums as well, hopefully between the 2 someone can help me. I am a current State of Iowa Employee and covered under BCBS Blue Access ... I was checking out the Wellmark website and my benefits and came across a statement saying "Treatment for Morbid Obesity Not Covered"  Anyone else out here have same plan or is a State of Iowa Employee that has had success recently with approval? Thanks for any that can help me I am very eager to get started on my bariatric surgery journey!

Thank you for the insight, so who should I contact then to confirm it or what steps should I take in getting it approved?

Ok I have emailed our HR rep this morning, specifically asking her if bariatric surgery is covered and if any other employees have inquired or been approved for it ... fingers crossed!
