That is so ridiculous to have to gain ten pounds in order to qualify for life saving surgery. The insurance companies are out of control. I'm still in pre-op mode and praying that Healthnet will approve me without the six month diet. Good Luck and I hope things will get easier for you in your quest to be healthy!

the 10lbs put me over the 100lbs. mark for my frame and body structure along with one comorbid and then I should qualify for WLS.
