How much will Medicare pay ?

Hi! I am going through Medicare for my vertical banded gastroplasty revision to a DS. If you used Medicare please post here of pm me. I would look to know how much out of pocket I should expect to pay. Medicare will be my only insurance for this. How much were your hospital costs out of pocket? How much were your physican/medical cost Medicare Part B out of pocket? How much did you end up paying? Thanks so much for any help with this.

If your are considered outpatient hospital and not inpatient it will subject to your Medicare Part B deductible if not met  if you have standard medicare and not a medicare advantage product. Then you would be responsible for the the medicare b deductible and co insurance as long as your hopsital and drs accept medicare assignment. Now if you are admitted as an inpatient you will be responsible for the Medicare Part A ded

Thanks.  Okay so for Part B the deductible is $135.00. I pay $135 and then 20 percent? For Part A. as an inpatient in the hospital. I pay $1024 and then how much? Does part A cover all hospital costs? This is for a Medicare approved hospital and a doc that takes MEDICARE.

That is correct for the Medicare Part A 1024.00 as long as it doesnt run into 60 days of inpatient stay then you co into co insurance days but that shouldnt happen as long as there is no complications.
