After jumping through thier hoops for nutritinal consult and for getting the carido and pulmonary clearences, I got my approval today. June 17th is my surgery. It was well woth the effort! Never give up!

Congratulations!!! I too have BCBS IL and am going through the appeal process.

Congrats!! i have bcbs/il too. i was approved in Feb. made my date for 4/14/08 but got sick :( new date 4/29/08!

Do you have anthm bcbs of illinois? I do and they say they have a written exclusion. Does yours? Just wondering...desperately..

Does anyone know how picky they are about the 5 yr history...I only have 04, 06 and 07,08. Ive heard they wont count 08 at all since its early in the year.
