what are the requirments for wls with Kaiser? Is it hard to get? Do you have to have 5 years of mob. obeisty? Kitty

Hi,    Kaiser was awesome for me. I was sent to Freemont from Sacramento for the surgery. They have recently lowered the requierments and I am not sure what then are now. They actually send people from this area to 3 different bay area locations. The other two requier you to attend 6 months of nutrition classes Freemont does not. You can ask to have your surgery at a certain facility. It took me anout 8 months to get through the program start to finish. All it takes is for yoyr PC to refer you. I would call Freemont and ask what the new criteria is because some of the docs don't know they changed it.                                                                                     Good Luck,                                                                                     Nancy
