is vsg covered by UHC?

has anyone hear had vsg surgery covered by united healthcare? if so did u have any problems?

I do the insurance for a Knoxville surgeon, and our UHC patients only get band or bypass covered, the VSG has not been proven to be good enough weight loss on its own. Sorry! Wish I had different experience. Your surgeon should submit it just to make sure.
