bcbs of mich dropped me

bcbs of Mich dropped me on March 1 because I moved to Florida..My doctors office sent in my paperwork for approval end of January..I kept calling bcbs of Mich and they said they never recv it..My doctors office assured me it was sent..Now I do not have  insurance because bcbs of Florida wants to charge me $700.00 a month because of my weight and co mobilities...I was told by bcbs of Michigan the reason they could not insure me anymore was because I moved to Florida..I have never lived in Michigan in fact I moved from Texas and I was never told  that  when I lived in Texas that I had to switch to bcbs of Texas... My old employer home office was in Michigan and I had cobra and when cobra ended I picked up myself and still never was told because I lived out of state they where going to drop me.. I am 60 yrs old on social security..I 'm to young for medicare..i'm overweight with co-moblitys with no insurance now... cannot afford new $700.00 a month from bcbs of Florida...did talk to bcbs of michigan ( or rather cried) but they where very rude even after speaking to a manager ..they said sorry and not concern that they dropped me like a hot potato.  

I'm so very sorry. I hope you find new insurance soon. I'm keeping you in my prayers.   Shelly
