Should my first call be to a surgeon or to my insurance company?

Your first call should be to the insurance company. Ask them if weight loss surgery is a covered benefit of your plan. if you call the surg. first they are just going to ask you if your insurance covers weight loss surgery.if they cover it aske them for the requirments in writing, or ask were you can find it online vs waiting for it to come in the mail. let me know if u need more help.
