Okay, so I found out my insurance does not cover the suregery. But I am eligible for insurance through the state. So I went into and talked with the case worker, he said that I am elibigble but I have never recieved it because I denied it. ( I am a single mother, and full time worker. I wanted to take care of my family, and did not want help from the goverment)  Anyway, I know they will cover the surgery. So now I have to make a choice on what one of the insuracnce the state offers I would like to use.  My choice are CareSource, Athema, and Monlina. So what one would be easliest to get aprroved? I am 25. I am 5'5 and weigh 280 lbs.

If you know what doctor you are going to use I would contact them and ask what their experience has been with each one.  When I went to my seminar we were given a package and in that was a list of the insurance companies with what their requirements were.  Don't take this list for every word it says.  My insurance was listed with a BMI between 35-39 you need two co-morbidites and a BMI of 40 or more one co-morbidity.  I have a BMI over 40, but no co-morbiditiy that I am on medicine for.  I have the beginnings of some though. Good Luck!
Weight Lost since pre-op diet on 3/6/08 (Drs. scale has me 0.8 lbs less)
