VSG and Tricare??

Hi All - I'm just beginning to do my research for WLS. Has anyone ever been approved by Tricare for the VSG?? I called Tricare and they said they would review my case if they had  a nurse's review and could see the need. I have a blood disorder that puts me at risks for clotting, so am trying to find the most effective, and also least invasive WLS. Thanks, Leone

We have a miltary base here in Augusta, and I did just find out they are doing the VSG there.  Tricare is approving it, it's just a matter of finding a surgeon who will take Tricare who does the VSG.
