I have healthnet insurance and am trying to find out if anyone else has used weigh****chers as the 6 month diet.

thanks any info on this insurance would be helpful when I call they really do not give me much. Have a nice day Karen

Paul's right---in my experience sending out pre-d's for WLS, I have never had an approval for someone who was required to do a 6 month MSD and did not see their doc monthly for weigh ins and followups--sorry, but if you only did WW and did not see your doc, than it was not a medically supervised diet, was it? WW is an awesome program to follow for the 6 month MSD, just make sure you check in monthly with your doc to record all the progress--weights, vital signs, behavior modification and exercise---most insurers requires all that for documentation. I too have Healthnet HMO. I am in the begining stages so I havent got to the diet part yet. I am going to have to see a nutritionist as part of my program.
