BCBS of MI requirements

Has anyone heard anything about bcbs of MI changing their "12 consecutive months medically supervised diet" to six months?  My friend is an RN and she said that she heard bcbs of MI was changing that requirement after the first of the year.  Just wondered if anyone else heard the same thing or if it is just a rumor.

It is no rumor, they changed it from 12 to 6 months and that puts me at 7 months so I am on a roll as soon as bcbs gives the word..   good luck .patti
