My PCP sent a letter to Priority Health without my info.

My PCP sent in a letter to my ins. co. (Priority Health) without my letter I wanted to send with it. I had asked that they not fax anything until I got my letter to them.  Within 2 days they had faxed his letter only to ins. for the Surgeon Evaluation Authorization!!! I asked the office to read me the letter and it included:  My BMI, my history of medically supervised weight loss with weight gain and my sleep Dr. info.  and my PCP's "blessing" to see a surgeon for bariatric surgery. This is just for my authorization to see the surgeon.  Does anyone have any thoughts on how this will go? I called ins. co. and they have the letter "in process" and I am supposed to check back on 1/2/08. Thanks for any input,
