Hi Question regarding Employer Exclusion of WLS

This is xpost from main  board forum (still learning my way around different forums) Anyways, Employer is A.C.S. Inc. Affiliated Computer Services Insurance is Aetna. Question: Does A.C.S. Inc have any sort of exclusions for WLS? Aetna has coverage within the guidelines posted, but if anyone has any experience with the employer and if there were any issues? 2nd Question: Is a WLS exclusion via employer a common issues in getting WLS (within any employer)? thank you!

You can simply call or email Aetna to find out if your employer covers it or not.  They were able to tell me.  I just asked if my employer's plan specifically covered weight loss surgery, and thank goodness it did. Good luck!
