Hi,
It sounds like I'm now undergoing what you did -- my first denial for not having my five year weight history and 6 month supervised weight loss program which is categorically not true. My surgeon's coordinator sent all that in and I'm pretty upset.
Up to now I've left all the insurance matter to Dr. Nagle's, the surgeon at Northwestern, office but I'm wondering if and how I can get in touch with BCBSIL to facilitate this process. The application is being reviewed by an independent doctor now -- is that the same thing as an appeal?
