6 month diet people

Ok here is my question, do you submit your paperwork to the insurance (Cigna in my case) company after your 6th PCP visit or after the 6month, which would be the 7th visit?  If I count it out 6 visits from Sept 10, 2007 would be February 10, 2007...6 months would be March 10, 2007.  Which one did you do?  And if you had/have Cigna let me know what their determination was/is.  Thanks

I have BCBS of MN, but I only sent my company the 6 physician notes....i'm still awaiting their approval....so time will tell.  ;) Good Luck!

Well I called Cigna myself and spoke with a case manager and asked them if my first month would count or would I have to wait for the next month.  She asked me is it documented that we talked about my current weight and diet program and asked if my weight was documented on this visit.. I advised her yes.  She told me that this would count as visit number one then.  You may want to call Cigna and see, and I actually spoke with a Case Manager, I didnt trust the rep who answered the phone to understand what I was talking about.
