CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!!

My insurance is through my husbands union. It is a self funded program and therefore exempt from Maryland's law requiring coverage for WLS. So we went through all the motions and were prepared to be denied. BUT they approved it just 10 days after it was submitted. My DR office had never worked with this local before, but did say that typical they don't have much luck with the unions.  I am so thankful to God for this being so quick and relatively easy.  Best wishes to all of you!

I've had that happen before, it's a surprise, but  tell people appeal, what the heck.  And see what happens.  Just keep copies of everything from them just in case they come back and say oops we want our money.

Can they actually come back and ask you to pay them back? Once you have a written lettem pf pre-approval? Wow that would really be horrible.
