Unless there are people on here who have the specific plan to which you will be switching, your best bet would be to contact UHC's customer service department to inquire about bariatric coverage for your possibly new company. You will also want to follow up on the request by asking for written documentation for the information that you received. That way, there will be no confusion when you switch to the plan. You will have before you written documentation verifying whether you will be covered or not and under what guidelines.
