I've spent the past 1 1/2 years going to my PCP monthly and meeting with different surgeons, only to not get anywhere. I finally met with a surgeon's office last week which I am happy with. The coordinator in the office was totally nice and gave me hope! I gave her all of my paperwork (doctors notes, ekg, sleep study info, chest xray, etc).. She just needed a copy of my psych evaluation results before she could submit to insurance. So this morning I called the other surgeon I was thinking about using and had them fax me a copy of the psych eval to send the new surgeons office. I follow the fax with a phone call to confirm they got it, turns out the coordinator is on vacation for a week! I know that doesnt seem like much but after waiting so long and getting so excited about finally getting my claim submitted to the insurance company, It was depressing.
