What happens after 30 days?
BCBS received my appeal on Aug. 31, I have the signed return receipt and my USPS tracking record to verify that. The NCM is trying to say that since it wasn't in their system until the 4th then that starts their 30 days for a decision. I say the 30 days started Aug 31, and therefore I better have a decision by Friday, Sept. 28th since the 30th is a Monday. I just looked on ERISA's website. But exactly what happens if I don't get my decision in 30 days????
I have Lipedema and Lymphedema. I also have a passion for Obesity and Health Insurance Advocacy.

Contact the Office of Insurance Regulation in your state for advice. Find out when the 30-day period started. If a decision is not made within the 30-day window, then contact them again.
