Aetna Open Access plan...? For DS operation

DOes anyone have experience with this plan....? THe surgery facilitator said she has had no problems, but since she has to put me in as a "revision" she is not too sure. I had to have the lap band removed in an emergency surgery due to erosion, and my stomach repaired. I have healed now for 6 months and my upper GI fluoroscope is perfect, like new. So, I am really like a "virgin" DS-er. Do you think Aetna will SEE that? Do they even read everything? I often wonder who these people are who look at these papers and hold the rest of our lives in their hands. I have had ALL of my pre-certs finished in 5 days. Upper GI, Gallbladder Ultrasound (it has to come out), Cardiovascular and stress test clearance, psych clearance. I just want to be approved and get this over with, FAST! Any thoughts...?

I am in the exact same boat with Aetna!  My lapband had been out a little over a year.  My paperwork is being submitted as a revision.  Have you heard any news?  Please keep me updated.   Cyndi
