Psych Eval

So, I have my psych evaluation/lab work scheduled for this Friday (so excited!).  But I've been calling to see if the psych evaluation is covered by my insurance because the appointment paper says that the psychologist isn't officially affiliated with the hospital where I'm hopefully going to have my surgery.  The insurance said that it should be billed together (I think they used the word "globally") and when I called the psychologist's office the lady said that they were having some issues getting a straight answer from my insurance.  I have Anthem Blue PPO.  Has/Did anyone else have a problem with insurance covering their psych evaluations??  I don't want to get to this point and have it fall apart.   I mean.. heck.  I guess I can pay for the evaluation out of pocket.  I just wanted a little reassurance. 

I fall within a similar situation.  I ended up paying out of pocket until they bill the insurance and Im still waiting to get either a check or to hear back.  Your insurance should cover it!  mental health usually has a ton of coverage.
